Central Texas Innovation Academy (CTIA) is a tuition-free Texas virtual school serving eligible students in grades 3-12. Our program combines the flexibility of online learning with a rigorous curriculum aligned to Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) standards, allowing students to learn from home while receiving support from Texas-certified teachers.

As a Texas virtual school, CTIA uses a TEKS-aligned curriculum developed by FlexPoint Education to provide students with a rigorous and flexible online learning experience. Our Philosophy on Discipline
At CTIA, we believe missteps are part of the learning process. We are committed to guiding students as they navigate the expectations of a virtual academy.
When infractions occur, our team intervenes with supplemental instruction and consequences designed to redirect and educate.
We do not believe in "one-size-fits-all" discipline. Every situation is evaluated based on the student's intent, age, history, and individual needs.
Decisions are based on evidence and a commitment to unbiased treatment. We ensure that every student's background and circumstances are considered to provide a constructive path forward.
CTIA is a safe, inclusive community. In the event of serious infractions, we adhere to all state laws and provide necessary support, such as Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), to ensure every student has the resources they need to succeed.
Success at CTIA is measured by progress. To stay in good standing, students are expected to be on pace and passing all courses. Should challenges arise, please contact your teacher or the office immediately.
Active participation is the heartbeat of the virtual experience and is required to maintain a student’s enrollment status. We document attendance through communication with faculty, the timely completion of all assessments, and consistent participation in live lessons.
Elementary Academics
At the elementary level, students in grades 3-5 build strong foundations in reading, language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies while learning in a supportive online environment.
